I do truly want to help out as best I can – hopefully alleviating much of the panic and confusion, and educating those of us who don’t know any better (#freshmenwithoutTJsibsorupperclassmenfriends). A big goal is answering all the questions I had when I was going through all of this (in hopes that you guys think like me, and have similar questions). However, once I cover what I think is important, I’d love to hear what YOU guys want to know, so I can add that on. Feel free to contact me (link here Contact Information) with any questions I didn’t answer. I may not answer them if they are too personal or irrelevant. I might also just reply to you personally, if I think your situation is too specific to be related to on this site.
With all that being said however, I am going to set limits right now. Of course I want to help each and every one of you – and I plan on doing just that, but there are certain boundaries to what I can say. Admissions, for example, is something I’m sure to receive a lot of questions on. While I’ll tell you guys everything you need to know about the processes, and a little of what to focus on – you MUST MUST MUST understand that I don’t want to give anyone an unfair advantage on this site. I’m only going to give information (especially about admissions) that you can most likely find on another “official” site of TJ. I might have limits on the other topics I give information about. I’m a believer that High School is supposed to be a really wonderful and unique experience for everybody. There are certain things you’re supposed to figure out for yourself, and I don’t plan on ruining that experience for anybody. This site will be more of a helpful side reference than a step by step guide to TJHSST.
